Founded in 1997 by e.g. bailey, Trú Rúts Endeavors is a multidisciplinary artistic organization, developing innovative, cutting edge work and projects. It has presented two spoken word/hip hop theatre productions; released three spoken word/hip hop albums; developed the first exhibit of African visual artists in MN, with Intermedia Arts; facilitated a develomental workshop of a play in progress concerning the conflict in Ireland; co-presents the noted National Poetry Month spoken word radio series Words Will Heal the Wounds, with KFAI; is currently producing a 30-minute short narrative film, adapted from a short story by award-winning novelist Percival Everett; and has formed a partnership with the African American Men's Project to produce performances, radio spots and televison PSAs.

				National Poetry Slam Zell Miller III, chosen for the 2004 Austin Slam Team, and will be competing at the National Poetry Slam Finals in St. Louis, MO, in August. More.

				'Famous Amos' at Fresh Ink Shá Cage's play, Famous Amos, will be presented as part of Illusion Theater's Fresh Ink Series, featuring Signe Harriday, Brandon Lacy and directed by Kim Hines. August 7th - 14th.

				Mama Mosaic's Triptych at CIA Mama Mosaic will be part of the Frinj of the Frinj, at the Center for Independent Artists, with a new work, Triptych, featuring Shá Cage, Signe Harriday and Katie Leo. July 28th \| 9:00pm.

				First Anthology of Hip Hop Theatre Zell Miller III's "The Evidence of Silence Broken" will be featured in the hip hop theatre anthology "Plays from the Boom Box Galaxy", due out in 2005. More information.

				Xenogia at Late Nite 2004 Sept. Performance Xenogia spoken word collective, featuring Zell Miller III, DaShade Moonbeam and Enrique Cabera, will be featured at the September performance of Late Nite 2004, along with Jahi Lake, and interdisciplinary performance group, 2704. More info.

				Zell Miller III subject of Spoken Word documentary Rising spoken word artist Zell Miller III, will be featured in a documentary on Poetry Slam, entitled "Slam Channel", focusing on the Austin Slam Team and the NYC/Urbana Slam Team. More info.
